With 4 strategic locations in Italy (Udine, Bologna, Milan, and Palermo), Alfred 24 will endeavor in sales and distribution of Direct4.me solution to residential and office environments, as well as to e-commerce as click & collect solution. Direct4.me will also be incorporated in their 6,000 Alfred24 PUDO locations, where space permits.

Stefano Moni, CEO of Alfred24, expressed his excitement about the Direct4.me deal, stating the ease of deployment of Direc4.me MultiSpace units, which require no electricity or internet to operate. He says, quote: "We deal with parcel lockers from China, which are large machines, suitable for installations in major traffic areas. With Direct4.me, we gained the flexibility to deploy parcel lockers in smaller urban areas, within a walking distance for the residents, and in some cases, positioning the equipment inside an apartment or office buildings. With open access to all couriers, this is a big win for the residents".

Alfred24 Network is targeting deployment of at least 10,000 D-Spaces by 2023, from MultiSpace units for residential and office use, to individual home D-Spaces. In addition, Alfred24 will launch a targeted retail campaign for individual home users, complete with social media push and specialized Italian website and e-shop.

Stefano Moni says it is hard to gauge the individual homeowner's response at this time, but he can see a smart parcel box replacing old-school mailbox on people's homes.
