Direct4.me provided DPD with deep integration between Direct4.me platform and myDPD application. Through that, DPD customers have the option to decide when and where they want to pick up their parcels, by simply selecting the desired delivery option with a few clicks.
The partnership will enable accelerating the process of optimising and innovating customer contact, and customer experience. Innovative, completely contactless parcel delivery with Direct4.me spaces also enables DPD's mission to provide additional measures preventing the transmission of infection with the new virus (COVID-19).
DPD already has more than 600 Pickup locations in Slovenia. In order to provide consignees with a unique user experience, with the possibility of cash payment upon delivery, they also offer a special benefit for such services. With their redirection options, the consignee can easily change the place of delivery and choose delivery to one of the Pickup locations throughout Slovenia.
Strategic cooperation between DPD and Direct4.me on other EU markets
Direct4.me and Parcel delivery company DPD already have strong cooperation and common market presence in Croatia, where the two companies successfully set-up parcel delivery infrastructure and network with premium partners and locations, such as Lidl and Petrol. DPD also set-up their own pick-up points at the distribution centres with DPD branded Direct4.me spaces.
Successful operations in Croatia and Slovenia have caught attention at the DPD executive board, which is leading to dialogues in regard to expanding our business cooperation onto new markets.
