We are pleased to announce that we signed a strategic partnership with DPD, a member of the Geopost group, which is the largest parcel delivery network in Europe, to install over 700 Direct4.me MultiSpace parcel lockers with over 15.000 parcel spaces in Slovenia and Croatia. This will further strengthen the existing partnership between the companies and enable DPD’s additional capacity to deliver parcels not only to Direct4.me operated courier-agnostic public network but also to DPD proprietary locker network.
As a global provider of innovative solutions in the last-mile industry, Direct4.me has always been committed to the best possible user experience, which ensures an improved service for DPD end-users. In addition to parcel locker network deliveries, DPD will also deliver to personal parcel lockers (Direct4.me D-Spaces) installed either in front of houses or shared in the residential buildings among all tenants. A new service will enable the user to pick up or drop off parcels even easier than ever before.
One of the main advantages of Direct4.me technology is parcel lockers (Direct4.me MultiSpaces) and personal parcel lockers (D-Spaces) can be installed virtually anywhere as there is no wiring necessary (no external power supply and no internet connection). This ensures the best user experience and easy integration with a wide range of customers and partners who use our services. When we were designing our parcel lockers, the focus was always on green delivery, therefore all our products are now a key element in the transformation to environmentally friendly last-mile logistics. Unattended delivery ensures AI powered optimized route delivery for logistic companies and virtually cuts end-users trips to pick up the parcel, which contributes to a reduced carbon footprint and a cleaner environment.
